The members of America's Armed Forces are our heroes. Our goal is to give as many of these brave people serving overseas as possible the simple pleasure of opening a big 'ol box of things they miss.
Each week we ship boxes of candy, cookies, peanuts, pretzels, salsa, pickles, Fiddle Faddle, Froot Loops, ramen noodles, toiletries, foot powder, Cheetos, trail mix, playing cards, board games, and the all-time favorite - cigars - to these brave men and women.
We are based in Raleigh, NC. If you are in the Raleigh area, send us an e-mail and let us know if you can help with shopping, packing, or mailing (that's where we need help the most). If you are out of the area, we would love to have your financial support.
We are a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation - 100% of what you contribute goes into the boxes. Read some of the e-mails and letters we get back from the troops and we think you will want to help.

Dear Back Home Box crew,
I want to send my thanks to all who help organize, coordinate, contribute and distribute all of your Care Packages to us in Iraq and Afghanistan! Our packages arrived just in time for the holidays. Being away from home is never an easy transition especially during the holiday season. Receiving mail is like receiving a small piece of home. It brightens your day to think about the TLC that was put into your package. I loved the personalized letters and cards – you can tell the words are heartfelt.
Many thanks to each and every one who makes our lives a little brighter. I wish a very Merry Christmas to you all and a New Year full of many blessings.
